Classes

Tiffany teaches two dancers. The face each other, one is in a wheelchair, one is on the floor with a foot raised.

Embrace runs a variety of arts based classes for children, teens, and adults of all abilities. Some of these classes are run independently by Embrace and some are run in collaboration with other fantastic local organizations based in the CRD.

Music Jam with Erin (June 24th)

Program Details

- Tuesday, June 24th from 3:30pm to 4:30pm PST

- Online via Zoom

- This class is open for individuals of all ages and abilities

- Free

Music Jam with Erin (Summer 2025)

 

Music Jam with Erin is an intergenerational online program centered on music and community. Participants are invited to sing and dance along at home or simply enjoy listening to a wide variety of live and recorded music. The program also includes opportunities to make song requests and share weekly highlights. It is a fun, joy-filled space to connect through music. 

 

No previous musical experience required. Open nationally to individuals of all ages.

 

Program Details

- Tuesday afternoons from 3:30pm to 4:30pm PST

- 5 weeks of program total running July 22nd to August 19th

- Online via Zoom

- This class is open for individuals of all ages and abilities

- $20.00 for the sessional

 In-Person Classes at
Vertical Performing Arts

We partner with Vertical Performing Arts offer studio classes that run with the school year (September to June). This paid program is run through Vertical Performing Arts and the team.

The dance studio is located at 6021 West Saanich Rd.

 

This year the following classes will be offered on Saturday mornings for the 2025/2026 dance year:

  • Adapted Tap/Jazz/Musical Theatre (Ages 16+) - Taught by Melissa Wetmore

  • Adapted Music and Movement (Ages 8-18) - Taught by Tiffany Tjosvold

  • Adapted Dance Fitness (Ages 13+) -Taught by Tiffany Tjosvold
